So somebody mentioned that the threshold of their garden shed was rotten so I stepped up and said "I got this for you." Turns out a large portion of the joists in front and the sill and the door frame was sponged out due to termites. So I replaced all that (in my own maybe laughable yet sturdy way) including a new door frame and built a little roofette over the door to keep rain water from going into the threshold, gussied up the paint, and added my signature metal decor touches.

I LOVE DOING THIS STUFF And I truly believe that You should love every square inch nook and cranny of your home and property. You should enjoy sitting in it, looking at it, And feeling like it's your special space... Even the kitchen pantry. Life is too short to postpone creating the environment you should be living in. It's not about a lot of money, it's just about being true to yourself and I'm down to help you. Next week I'm helping a family create a fire pit entertainment space in the backyard.

THESE THREE COLLEGE FRIENDS MET 40 PLUS YEARS AGO IN ALABAMA.. DURING THE INTERVENING YEARS TWO OF US ENDED UP IN ATLANTA AND NOW FINALLY I'M SHOWING HOUSES DOWN THE STREET TO THE THIRD FRIEND, A NASHVILLE RESIDENT, WHO'S DECIDED SHE JUST DOESN'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON ALL THAT OLD TYME ❤️‍🔥FUN ❤️‍🔥WE'RE GOING TO HAVE DOWN HERE!!

I love helping my friends out at Bee's knees estate sales. Today I saw this chalkboard at a client's house. Love it. Creativity really is magic and unique to the artist!

My sweet lovely mom has proved to be incredibly tenacious. So very grateful to spend time alone with her this weekend while she felt well and had her wits about her. I now count every moment we have together...each one is sacred.

Already posted this on face crook but would like to share it here as well. Over Christmas my siblings and I returned to our childhood home knocked on the door and found some wonderful current residents who were more than happy for us to take advantage of a photo op. We sort of recreated the pose off of a Christmas card sent out a 1972. 53 years later here we are, alive, together, and very happy to be siblings... Still. Gratitude is overflowing.
