I often tell clients that wealth should serve life, not the other way around. When money becomes the goal, peace becomes the casualty.

But when wisdom leads, money becomes a tool for joy, generosity, and freedom.

If you’re ready to align your finances with what matters most, I’d love to help you get started.

When people talk about money, they often talk about numbers. When they talk about goals, they usually talk about freedom. Having options creates margin for generosity, calling, and family.

Where would greater financial freedom create more flexibility in your life?

I'm feeling especially grateful this Easter.

This season always reminds me of the incredible hope and renewal made possible through Jesus’ sacrifice. It’s a moment to appreciate the grace we’ve been given...and the responsibility we have to live it out with integrity, compassion, and service.

As a Blue Trust Advisor, I’m thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients and colleagues with those values at the center. Easter reinforces why humility, stewardship, and faith matter in the work we do every day.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Easter filled with peace, gratitude, and renewed purpose. With Brook Smith Mallory

This week I spent a few hours recording new content for our upcoming Blue Trust website. It feels great to share how much I love my work and the people I do it with.

I have a front‑row seat to people’s stories, goals, and the values that shape their financial decisions. Bringing that perspective into this new content has been energizing. I can’t wait for you to see what we’re building. Amazing innovation at Blue Trust!

This is Part 2 of our Maxwell series: Growth almost always happens outside our comfort zone.

John Maxwell says everything we want in life but do not yet have often sits just beyond that line.

Real growth begins when we step forward and start adding value to others.

Meaningful progress rarely happens while staying comfortable.

Many people feel responsible because they track their spending, but clarity comes from knowing where you are going, not just where you have been. A plan creates intention.

Do you feel clear about where your money is heading, or just where it went?

When I think about what drew me to Blue Trust, it’s the clarity of our mission. For more than forty years, this firm has stayed focused on one purpose: helping believers manage wealth with wisdom and live with peace.

We don’t separate faith and finances. They belong together, because everything we’ve been given was meant to serve both people and purpose.

If you’ve ever wondered how your financial life can reflect your faith, let’s start that conversation.

What comes next after retirement?

It is one of the most common questions people begin asking as they approach that transition.

John Maxwell talks about the difference between going to the next level and growing into the next level.

Financial readiness matters. But thriving in the next season often comes from purpose, relationships, and continued growth.

It is a conversation we often have with clients as they begin thinking about life beyond their career.

This is Part 1 of a series of talks given by John Maxwell. John Maxwell once boiled life advice down to one simple sentence. Get over yourself. It sounds humorous, but there is wisdom in it. Many of our frustrations come from focusing too much on ourselves instead of serving others.

Excellence matters because people matter. I believe doing great work is one way we honor both God and the clients we serve.

When we give our best effort, with integrity and diligence, we reflect the One we ultimately work for.

If you’re looking for a financial partner who values both skill and stewardship, I’d love to connect.
