SFPA focuses on connecting students with employers and faculty, creating internship and job opportunities for members, and building a community of young professionals with an interest and passion for f
inancial planning. Our meetings typically feature financial planning firms wanting to share industry experience and provide opportunities for our membership. Additionally, we host socials and community outreach events to connect our members with each other! Tackling COVID-19: We’re taking a hybrid approach to meetings, meaning our meetings will be both online and in-person to accommodate those who cannot or may not be able to be present.

Generally, our first meeting is held toward the beginning of September and serves as an orientation and overview of the year ahead. There will be a sign-in sheet distributed in person and through social media. The sign-in will serve to add you to our social media, GroupMe, and email list.
