I met Dawn & her husband Aaron at one of the first Atascadero Chamber mixers I went to. Aaron is a pastor at Hope Lutheran Church, and I had just left the lifetime religion I was raised in, and lost a community, so needless to say I was wary of the church booth. They greeted me with so much warmth and genuine humanity, and still 5 years later, I have never felt pressure, just genuine love. Dawn has been nominated as the next woman of influence for Atascadero by the and she so deserves it. I’ve seen her work tirelessly to support our town, our county, for the chamber, spiritually with no weirdness or expectations, for Habitat for Humanity Central Coast Zoo Atascadero Lakeside WineFest and any other cause that needs her.
It is an honor to know you my friend and your energy to keep giving inspires me. Thank you for all you do, Dawn. And Aaron. We love you.
