It is with heavy hearts that the Board of Directors and Staff of Lakeview Federal Credit Union extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Sherry, beloved wife of Garth Cornell, as well as to his family, friends, and everyone whose lives were touched by Garth.
For 41 years, Garth generously shared his talents with our credit union, never hesitating to lend his voice, time, and support. He became the familiar voice behind countless Lakeview commercials and radio advertisements, leaving a lasting impression on our members and community.
A true entertainer and professional behind the microphone, Garth was a cherished presence at credit union Christmas parties, annual meetings, employee and board gatherings, cookouts, and many other community events. Standing proudly alongside Sherry, he brought warmth, laughter, and his unforgettable sense of humor to every occasion. His quick wit and legendary "bad jokes" always left us smiling and eagerly awaiting the next punchline.
Garth's unwavering support of our credit union will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, laughter, and community spirit that will continue to inspire us for years to come.
Rest in peace, Garth. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
