Bringing back Throwback Thursday! 1994, I had just graduated from Southern Oregon State College. I was on the 5-year plan and I did it on a different cycle than most. I went Winter, Spring, and Summer terms and in the Fall, I worked with my Papa guiding fishing trips on the Deschutes River. Our season was August 15 through November 15th.
After graduation I took over the family business and now I was the guide! My long-time best buddy Paul took my spot as the camp host/chef/all around go-fer. It was a blast! Then when the season ended, I went to work with my good friends I had met and worked with in Ashland/Talent in the restaurants, now we were in Portland selling cars. I learned so much about selling and people. A lot more than I did in many of my business classes. It was not easy, but I knew at this point that I wanted to make a career in sales. I did not want a cap on what I could earn, and I still believe in 100% commission. I call it a success fee, I must succeed for my clients or I don’t get paid. After about six months selling used cars, I went to work at Wentworth where I worked for 9 months of the year and I guided for 3. My time at Wentworth was exciting! I continued to grow my understanding of people and selling and became a top producer, and in 1996 I was the Salesperson of the year! Then a mortgage consultant drove onto the lot in a pink sparkly 911 and ordered a new 4 Door Chevy Tahoe to match. This was my first intro to the Mortgage business and later I learned that this could be a way to get back to Southern Oregon. I took a leap of faith and made the move to mortgage and back to Southern Oregon and it was one of the best decisions of my life!

They are always available to answer any questions, even the littlest of things. This is the second time that we have worked with them, and they really have become a big part of our journey, even feeling a little like family at this point. I can't recommend them more!
