Couple items to note regarding this GLP-1 program:
•Temporary CMS demonstration program (July 1, 2026–Dec. 31, 2027)
•NOT included as a Part D prescription program and does not count toward OOP max. It is fully administered by Medicare.
•$50 co-pay for a one-month supply. Only includes Foundayo®, Wegovy® (injection and tablets) and Zepbound® (KwikPen®)
•CMS has designated a central process to administer prior authorization decisions, claims processing and pharmacy reimbursement for the program.
•The member cost share is the same regardless of LIS eligibility.
•Must be for weight loss only, no other on label reasons or it will go to the Part D plan.
•Requires a prescription and CMS prior authorization (providers go direct to CMS).
•Requires a BMI of 35 or greater with exceptions for co-morbidity factors down to BMI of 30 or as low as 27 or greater depending on factors.

The new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program promises eligible beneficiaries access to popular weight loss drugs for as little as $50 a month. But for some, having the very medical conditions these drugs are approved to treat means they don't qualify for the discount.

September through December is our busiest time of year due to open enrollment for Medicare, Individual health insurance policies, and many group health insurance plans. Many of our agents work tirelessly through the night to ensure all of their clients are on the best possible plan. Sacrificing time with their families and friends through these months.

That is why we're giving our employees 1 extra day off as a thank you for their constant hard work and to spend a little extra time with their families before heading into busy season.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday.

A vacation day at the beach took an unexpected turn when our agent Gina Khoury Ashley ‘s 10-year-old granddaughter woke up with an earache!

Instead of spending hours in an emergency room away from home, one call to telemedicine helped her get connected with a provider, receive a diagnosis, and have a prescription sent to a nearby pharmacy.
Before long, she was back to enjoying her vacation and making more memories.

Today, we had the opportunity to step outside the office and join our community in welcoming the Veterans Appreciation drive-by as Ashland kicks off Veterans Appreciation Weekend.

At Central Ohio Group, we're proud to be more than an insurance agency, we're proud to be part of the communities we serve.
