Debit Card Update - Our rock star employees printed debit cards all weekend and have most of the cards printed! We have notified customers whose cards are ready for pickup. We will continue to print cards until all are ready and we will notify customers as their cards are available. If you have not been notified your card is not yet ready. If you have fraud on your card and need to get on the list for a new card, please call your branch. If you’ve called, chatted, or left a voicemail you are on our list. Debit Card Update – We have finally arrived at a solution for the issues. All locations are printing debit cards this weekend. Once all cards are printed, we will notify customers that their card is ready to be picked up. Please do not come to get your card before we call you. We apologize for this inconvenience and we appreciate your patience as we have navigated this issue.

5/13/26 3:45pm Update - Thank you all for your patience. We have begun the process of issuing new debit cards. If you have called (whether you spoke to a person or left your name and number on the voicemail), we are working on your card. We will call you when your card is ready to pick up. If you have not yet called and your card was compromised, please call your branch and press 1 to leave your name and number and we will issue your card as soon as we can and we will call you when it is ready. Thank you again for your patience. We appreciate your business.

Update – We continue to work on the debit card issue. We have a potential solution that we are testing. With the influx of phone calls we have not been able to call customers back today. If you have called us we will return your call tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

We are aware of a widespread issue with debit cards. This issue is not specific to West Central Bank. We are unable to issue debit cards at this time. If your debit card is not working, please make arrangements to come into the bank to get cash. If you need cashiers checks or money orders, we will be issuing those free of charge during this time period. We are working hard on this issue and we will continue to update our customers as we obtain further information.

After 30 years and 8 months with State Bank of Ashland and West Central Bank, Kim Scholes is officially retiring on Saturday, January 24. She will be working Saturday at the drive up. Feel free to stop by and see her on Saturday to congratulate her on this milestone.

If you do not have the app on your phone, go to the Google Play/Android Store and download "WCBank". Once downloaded, you should be able to enter your username and password to access. We are aware of an issue affecting all Android phones and the ability to access our app. Currently our app for Android devices cannot be updated or downloaded from the Google Play Store. We are working on getting this issue corrected. In the meantime, Android users can access their online banking through the web browser on their phone and navigating to our website – www.westcentralbank.com. From here you can enter your online banking user ID and password to access your account information. Please call your local West Central Bank branch if you have any questions or problems logging on to your account through the website. We will send an update as soon as a resolution to this issue is completed. Thank you!

Due to the recent increase in fraudulent calls, we want to remind our customers to be vigilant with their account information.

West Central Bank Fraud Center will never ask for account or debit card information. Never give out any information regarding your debit card or account unless you initiated the call.

When in doubt, please contact your local WCB branch for assistance with any messages or phone calls you may receive.
