So, we're pretty proud of our 75 Year history. But did you know that public schools in Ashland County were first established in 1838?

And our research shows that Betsy Coulter started a school in Green Township way back in 1814!

Count it up, and that's over 200 years of education excellence, right here in Ashland.

Strong communities start in the classroom.

Since today is the last day of August, we just wanted to say, one more time, "Thank You".

Thank You for an awesome 75th Anniversary celebration a couple of weeks back.

And Thank You for coming along with us as we work on year number 76 and beyond!

Well, I guess that's more than just one time, isn't it? That's ok...you deserve all of the thanks in the world.

Ok, one last time (and we mean it this time), "Thank You," Ashland. And rest assured, the best is yet to come.

Our local schools' fall sports are in full swing!

One thing we know for sure: Win or Lose, you'll show every other school that Ashland knows how to play hard, show respect, and display teamwork!

You still have some time this month to help yourself AND help The Cat House Feline Sanctuary, Inc.

We'll donate $25 with every in-house secured loan we make through August to support the cats and kittens and the people like Laura Bailey who protect them.

Thanks to you, we just presented Ashland Pregnancy Care Center with a donation of $600.

We held a 50/50 Raffle during our 75th Anniversary Celebration last week, and are so grateful to you and to everyone who participated!

Here's how it happened:

We raised almost $600! Thank You!

A wonderful young man drew the winning name for us! Thank You, Thank You!

Jim Scott won the raffle! Congratulations and Thank You!

Then Jim Scott donated the rest back to give to the Ashland Pregnancy Center! Minus a little bit of hard-earned cash for the young man who drew his name! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU!

Your Ashland Community Federal Credit Union made up the difference for an even $600 for the cause.

All in all, what a wonderful day! We genuinely appreciate your generosity, although it doesn't surprise us one bit.

After all, we're people helping people around here. You make it happen.
