Benjamin Key: Financial Advisor with Edward Jones

Benjamin Key: Financial Advisor with Edward Jones I am a second-generation financial advisor to the office that my father-in-law, Jim Rosby, opened over 40 years ago.

His legacy of deeply serving longtime friends and families in the Ashland and surrounding areas is a very meaningful experience and foundation of my business. I strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that I understand their unique story. I also work to help ensure clients have a holistic, long-term financial strategy and quality investments that align with their needs. Helping others is an in

tegral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services as I became aware of the invaluable benefit of financial stewardship and legacy in individuals and families. As an Ashland native, I deeply value serving multi-generational families, local businesses, farmers and those connected to my hometown. In addition to my financial licensures, I hold a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology from Grace College and Theological Seminary. With experience as a clinical counselor, I am proud to represent and serve the community on the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland Co. My amazing wife, Allyson, and I are high school sweethearts (Go Arrows!) and blessed with three beautiful children. We deeply value our family, faith and community. However, if you do not find me in one of those places, I am likely casting a line to relax, recharge and enjoy the outdoors! My team includes Kathrine Tilley and Amanda Bowman who are deeply dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service. You will meet them first thing when you stop in or call our office. We look forward to partnering with you on your personalized financial needs. You can schedule with my team at (419) 289-0400 or visit the office at 141 Claremont, Ashland, OH 44805.

After months of expected interest rate cuts, the Federal Reserve is shifting its focus back to managing inflation. This "higher-for-longer" interest rate environment may present compelling opportunities in short-term fixed income, while equities can continue to be supported by strong and broadening earnings growth. Brian Therien, Investment Strategist, explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

Meet Amanda Thomas, Senior Branch Office Administrator

Amanda joined our office in 2022, and plays an integral role in delivering a smooth and supportive client experience.

As a Sr. BOA, she partners with me to provide day to day support while helping clients stay on track toward their personalized financial goals.

With a background in customer service, ministry, and administrative support, Amanda brings a strong commitment to serving others with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. She especially enjoys building meaningful relationships with our clients and being part of a team that works together to make a difference.

Amanda believes great client service starts with truly listening and understanding each client’s goals, then showing up consistently as a trusted and reliable partner. She is dedicated to creating a friendly, approachable environment where clients feel supported in any situation.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys attending concerts with her husband and spending quality time with family and friends. A fun fact about her is that she is a left handed redhead with blue eyes and freckles, a combination as unique as her personality.

Amanda is motivated each day by helping others, being part of a strong team, and knowing her work makes a meaningful impact. She values making life easier for clients and bringing a sense of relief , confidence and joy to their financial journey.

Her message to clients is simple and genuine. "You matter to us, and we are always here to help and support you however we can".

Large IPOs can come with a lot of fanfare. But in the early days of public trading, it can be difficult to separate long-term fundamentals from short-term momentum.

As investors look beyond Middle East tensions, U.S. economic fundamentals are coming into sharper focus, driven by an accelerating AI investment and robust corporate profit growth, reinforcing the constructive case for equities. However, elevated inflation may keep rate cuts off the table and limit near-term progress in bond markets.
