With area schools back in session, please remember the North Carolina School Bus Stop Law:

✅ Two-lane roads – All traffic from both directions must stop.
✅ Two-lane roads with a center turn lane – All traffic from both directions must stop.
✅ Four-lane roads without a median – All traffic from both directions must stop.
✅ Divided highways with a median separation – Only traffic following the bus must stop.
✅ Roadways of four lanes or more with a center turn lane – Only traffic following the bus must stop.

⚠️ Always keep an eye out for children who may unexpectedly cross the road, especially near bus stops, schools, and parks.

Community 🏠 I had the privilege of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, working alongside some great people volunteering from Sunset Avenue Church of God and Randolph Hospital interns to help create safe, affordable housing for families right here in our city.💙🏡

Habitat for Humanity of Randolph County, chartered in 1996 is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. In 2024 Habitat completed their 50th home in Randolph County!🏘️💙🏡
