Great night out at a Loudoun United FC match ⚽️

Took my son and two of his friends to watch them take on Charleston Battery, and it turned into one of those nights they’ll remember for a long time.

We hung out in the VIP tent (all-you-can-eat buffet didn’t hurt 😄), spent some time with friends, and after the game the boys met the players, grabbed autographs, and even got a picture with the goalie.

And I won’t lie… seeing my State Farm billboard up during the game was a pretty cool moment too.

Just a really fun, high-energy night of soccer and memories with the kids.

These are the moments that matter. 🙌

30 nights of dinner with Benji continues.

Tonight we made a stop at Mr. Wish Tea & Fresh Juice in Herndon, which has quickly become Benji’s new favorite spot.

Apparently the boba here is 🔥. According to Benji, it’s the best around. The place is packed with kids and families for a reason.

I’ll be honest… I kind of wish I was 12 years old again so I could drink boba too. 😂

Benji’s favorite food is pretty much anything Asian, so tonight we went to YU Noodles 🍜 in Herndon.

One of the coolest things about this place is that all of their noodles are made in-house, and you can really taste the difference. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for.

These dinners together have been really special. We’re grateful for the time, the conversations, and discovering great local spots along the way.

Benji and I had dinner tonight at in Herndon, and this little spot is a gem.

It’s a small local restaurant, tiny in the best possible way, the kind of place that feels like it belongs in New York City with a three-hour wait outside the door.

The ramen is incredible. The flavor is absolutely on point. Benji is a full-blown ramen snob at this point and even he says this place is legit.

Honestly, the hardest part is knowing when to stop eating. It’s so good you just keep going until you’re completely full.

Our waiter was very friendly too and gave us great recommendations. We definitely recommend checking it out.

Dinner with Benji at in Herndon tonight and it was outstanding.

Kanoon specializes in Arab smoked meats and barbecue, and everything we tried was excellent. What made the night even more special was that we happened to be there during Iftar, the meal when Muslims break their fast during Ramadan.

Right around 7:15 PM at sunset, the call to prayer played in the restaurant. Everyone paused, then the room came alive as people began to break their fast and share food together. We drank Salaam Cola!

It was a really beautiful moment to witness and a great experience for Benji and me. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a memorable night. Highly recommend checking it out.

Family dinner tonight with Meghan’s childhood friend Katie and her daughter Kylie at Honest Grill for some Korean BBQ.

Great food, lots of laughs, and a special moment celebrating Katie’s birthday. We surprised her with a slice of cake and sang Happy Birthday right at the table.

Nothing better than good food and good friends around the table.

Benji loves Asian flavors, so tonight we hit for ramen and sushi. 🍜🍣

The vibe is cool, the food is impeccable, and the flavors are next level. We ordered ramen, sushi, and a mango drink that literally said “no fruit juice” on the label.

Benji goes, “In Japan, food labels have to tell the truth.”

We all laughed and renamed it:
“Not Mango Juice – Juice Not.” 😂

Nothing better than breaking our fast together, sharing good food and even better conversations.
