She is a co-laborer in the effort Save Girls’ Sports. I support her for California Department of education superintendent.
Being the daughter of an immigrant, I carry deep gratitude for this country.
My father came to America in his early 20s and proudly joined the military. Though my mom wasn’t in our lives for long, my dad raised us on his own and made sure we understood one thing: America is the most beautiful country in the world.
He taught us to love this nation, to fight for it, and to never take our freedom for granted. We were raised to honor those who sacrificed so much to make this country what it is.
We also spent summers with my Gramma (God rest her soul) and my Papa, who’s still with us. Their yard is always lined with American flags, and they never miss a Fourth of July parade. Alongside my father, they taught us what it means to be proud of this country and thankful for its freedoms.
Through their words and their lives, they all showed us that being an American is something to love, protect, and never take for granted.
Today, we also pause to thank all those who have served, serve and sacrificed to defend this great nation. Your courage makes our freedom possible.
May God continue to bless America, this beautiful land we’re so blessed to call home. 🇺🇸
Happy Independence Day. 🙏❤️🇺🇸🦋
