What is a DSCR (Debt-Service-Coverage-Ratio) mortgage loan? It's one of the few loans that don't require you to provide your income to qualify. The concept of the loan is to prove the property you are financing can pay for itself. For example, if you have a house payment of $1,600 and you rent the house out for $2,000 you have a DSCR ratio of 1.25% (2,000/1,600). These loans are what investors with hundereds of properties rely on to qualify for more homes.
