We’d like to welcome Daniel Castro to the Worthington Bank family!

Daniel joins us with a B.A. in Math from TCU and an MBA in Finance from SMU. He also brings valuable banking experience from his time as a commissioned bank examiner with the Texas Department of Banking.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys attending local sporting events, including TCU football games and Dallas Mavericks games.

We’re excited to have Daniel on the team and look forward to all he’ll bring to Worthington Bank!

David has over 25 years of banking under his belt and joined our Edwards Ranch team as their Financial Service Specialist. If you’ve been by the Ranch recently to open a new account, you may have already met him!

During his free time, he is a pace coach for the 817Running Club and enjoys helping people train for marathons. David knows a thing or two about going the distance, and we’re excited to have him as a part of our team!

Back-To-School season is in full swing!
Our teams across Tarrant and Denton County recently came together to support local schools through several community projects.

From collecting and donating supplies to local schools and United Way of Tarrant County, to helping assemble backpacks, making bookmarks for students, and serving lunch to new teachers in Grapevine and Colleyville ISD, our teams were proud to lend a hand where we could.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to support the students, teachers and schools in our communities we call home. Here’s to a great 2026-2027 school year!

And that’s a wrap! Our 2026 Summer Internship has come to an end.

Last week we said “see you later” to Evan Thompson, our 2026 Summer Intern. Evan has been a part of the Worthington Bank team for the past eight weeks, and has been an incredible addition, gaining hands-on experience in credit, lending, and the banking industry as a whole.

As Evan heads into his junior year at the University of Oklahoma studying finance and accounting, we have no doubt he has a bright future ahead of him and will be successful at anything he sets his mind to.
