Lexie did amazing coming into the office with me yesterday and today. She had a bad cough and then today ended with a fever. I took her to the doc and she has an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. She sure behaved amazing considering. She kept us laughing and entertained. When we walked in the office she looked around and said, "This is amazing." She introduced herself to my boss Chad when he walked in and said, "Hi, I'm Lexie." Melt my heart. Liz wants to adopt her and Joy and Lexie are planning when she can go to her house. She told Chris he looked handsome. Kid you not. This child is so sweet, articulate and expressive. Goodness she's busy but I am blessed to be her mama. And blessed to work with such truly amazing and kind people.

I have been thinking a lot about how hard life can be at times. So often, despite our best efforts, life does not go how we thought it would. Thankfully we are not alone and there are so many people in this world to help, support, encourage, and just love us. I am so thankful for all the people in my life that are there for me.
