Good Afternoon,
We have an exciting announcement to share, Gelpi & Horn Insurance has acquired Attales Insurance.
They will keep our local office, text line, and phone number so nothing will change in how you interact with the agency. Rest assured that nothing changes regarding your policy.
They have brought on two experienced staff members that Windi and I (mostly Windi) is training on how our office has historically operated so each of you can continue to receive the tradition of excellent customer service you’ve come to know and expect.
Below is a bio and statement from the new owners. Please take a couple of minutes to learn about them and their expectations for the agency moving forward. Windi and I believe they will take great care of you and we want to ask you to truly show them the loyalty and commitment you’ve shown us over the last 3 years.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you for the last three years. It’s been a pleasure to serve you and take care of your insurance needs. Our goal was always to be a blessing to each of you and you have returned the favor by being a blessing to us!

We want to start out by thanking Mitch and Windi Attales for creating and building a wonderful group of customers. They worked hard to build relationships with each and every one of you, along with placing you with the best companies the market has to offer! We are grateful for this opportunity to receive the baton in this relay race and look forward to continuing to be the best service agency we can possibly be!
We are Louisiana natives, Chris being from Shreveport/Bossier, myself being from both Shreveport/Bossier and Metairie/Kenner area. Chris is a graduated LSU Tiger with a wife and 2 children. I am an LSUS Pilot, husband and father of 3. We value family over everything, and it reflects in our business every day.
We started this agency after being in insurance since 2008. We have been a part of other companies like Allstate, Shelter, and State Farm. One thing we realized during our journey to where we are today is this, we are a community-based agency. We have “owned” our own insurance agencies with State Farm and Shelter, and through our journey, we have found that our customers are very loyal to companies that do not show the same sentiment. That’s what drew us to this business model. We found that our beliefs were not shared. We are a community insurance agency, not a corporate agency. We are here for you and will make sure these companies will “sing” when they’re supposed to and if they act up we put you with the next best thing. That gives us the power of free market. We are delighted to have this opportunity to expand our customer base and continue the same level of customer service Mitch Attales provided moving forward. We are open Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. Holiday hours will be posted and will vary. If you have any questions, please reach out to the office! We have a great staff in place with over a decade of insurance experience! Chelsea and Kristina will gladly help you out with anything you may need, and if you would like the opportunity to meet with us, call in and schedule a time and we’ll be happy to sit down with you!
