June is one of the biggest months for tying the knot, and while weddings are joyful celebrations, they can also carry a significant price tag. The earlier you start setting money aside, the more breathing room you can give yourself as the big day approaches.

A clear sense of your total budget, broken down by category like venue, catering, photography, and attire, can help you track progress and stay on course without the stress of last-minute scrambling.

Whether you're a parent thinking years ahead or someone saving on your own timeline, giving your money time to grow can be one of the most thoughtful ways to prepare for such a meaningful milestone.

School's almost out — but the learning doesn't have to stop!

One of our portfolio managers visited a local classroom to talk with first graders about the basics of money: saving, spending, and why it matters. And of course, Willie Wiredhand was along for the ride.

Financial literacy can start early, and conversations at home can make a real difference. Whether you're wrapping up the school year or gearing up for summer, our website has an activity book and conversation starters to help adults talk to kids about money.

Where's Willie? We found him wandering the tulip fields near Amsterdam! 🌷

Fun fact: The Dutch tulip fields are so vast and colorful, they're visible from space.

Here's the thing about tulips — they don't pop up overnight. Bulbs go in the ground in the fall, weather the cold all winter, and by spring? Boom. Something beautiful.

Not so different from a savings goal, really. Whether it's a dream trip to Amsterdam or a comfortable retirement, planting early and staying consistent can help your efforts bloom over time.

May is graduation season, a good reminder that education costs keep rising and that the best time to start planning for the young people in your life is before you think you need to.

If you have children, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews in your life, even modest contributions made consistently over the next 10 to 15 years can make a difference when the time comes.

Two options worth understanding:
A 529 Plan offers tax-free growth for qualified education expenses. Keep in mind that non-qualified withdrawals may be subject to penalties, and assets can affect financial aid eligibility.

A Uniform Gift/Transfer to Minors Account (UGMA/UTMA) is more flexible since funds aren't restricted to education, but assets are subject to taxes, and once the minor reaches adulthood, the funds are fully theirs to manage.

You don't have to fund everything. Even partially covering education costs may help give your graduate a little more financial breathing room when they enter the workforce.

Start now. Future you, and future them, may be glad you did.
