Home buyers, don't lose hope! 🏡 There's a hidden force that could mean lower mortgage rates are on the horizon.

Over the past 8 weeks, the gap between 30-year mortgage rates and 10-year Treasury yields has been shrinking. This typically signals rates will start to decrease. After remaining abnormally high compared to Treasuries for 2 years, this gap narrowing suggests rates may finally fall more in line with Treasuries in the coming months.

The good news? If this trend continues, 30-year fixed rates could dip below 6.5%, boosting housing affordability and getting more buyers back in the market. 📉
