Rochdale Capital is proud to announce it has been officially certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s CDFI Fund. This designation affirms the organization’s commitment to providing financing and technical assistance to economically disadvantaged individuals and communities.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a powerful celebration of freedom, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of a people.

At Rochdale Capital, we believe that economic liberation creates true equity. We proudly stand with the communities we serve—the entrepreneurs, small business owners, and families building generational wealth through ownership. Their leadership continues to shape a more just and inclusive economy.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom must be realized through collective action. We remain deeply committed to advancing cooperative and community ownership, expanding access to capital, and investing in the power of Black communities nationwide.

On this day, we encourage everyone to join in the celebration by attending local parades, art and music festivals, and communal feasts.

In May, we join communities across the country in celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. This year’s national theme, Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together, reflects a core truth: shared prosperity is possible when communities build, invest, and lead collectively.
AANHPI communities have long embodied this spirit through mutual aid traditions, small‑business entrepreneurship, and intergenerational models of community care. Today, they represent one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing populations in the nation.
As we honor AANHPI Heritage Month, we celebrate the leaders, innovators, and community builders whose contributions strengthen our economy and enrich our collective story. We also reaffirm our commitment to expanding access to capital, supporting diverse entrepreneurs, and advancing an ownership economy where every community can thrive.

As Black History Month concludes, we recognize the 100th anniversary of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, which initiated the first national Black history observance. This year’s theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” encourages us to consider how public celebrations of Black history have influenced identity, culture, and equality over the past century. At Rochdale, we encourage everyone to explore how Black history has contributed to the nation’s status, visibility, resilience, and self-determination.
