Health Net will no longer offer commercial group health plans in California starting February 28, 2027.

This may apply to you if you:
• Own a small or mid-sized business in California
• Currently offer group health insurance to your employees
• Currently have a Health Net group health plan
• Are considering offering group health benefits to your employees

📌 Important Reminder for Existing Health Net Clients

If your company currently has a Health Net group health plan, now is a good time to start reviewing your options. Don’t wait until the last minute to make the transition.

Open Enrollment Updates

A federal district court in Maryland issued a ruling overturning the shortened annual Open Enrollment period requirement for the 2027 plan year. As a result, Covered California will return to its traditional three-month Open Enrollment period from November 1 through January 31. This means consumers in California will continue to have the fullest possible opportunity to enroll in and keep coverage for themselves and their families.
