As a member of the Johnson Financial Group team and Rookie League Coordinator for Appleton Little League, there's nothing better than seeing our community come together around youth sports.

What an incredible Opening Day for Appleton Little League Season 2! ⚾🎉

The excitement on our players' faces was exactly what youth sports are all about. It was great to see our athletes back on the field, having fun, building friendships, developing their skills, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

I was especially proud to see Johnson Financial Group sponsoring one of our Rookie League teams this season. Supporting local organizations and investing in our communities is part of who we are, and it's rewarding to see that commitment directly impact local families and young athletes.

We were also honored to recognize the Fox Crossing Fire Department during our opening ceremonies. Following the devastating loss of their fire station and fire truck, it was a privilege to welcome these hometown heroes to our fields. The firefighters arrived in their new truck, giving players and families an opportunity to meet the crew, explore the truck, and show their appreciation for everything they do to keep our community safe.

Appleton Little League will continue collecting donations for the Fox Crossing Fire Department throughout the remainder of the season. If you'd like to support their recovery efforts, we encourage you to consider making a contribution.

⚾ What a great night at Appleton Little League! ⚾

Last night we welcomed players to our Second Season Player Assessments. While assessments aren't something we typically do for our fall season, we felt it was a great opportunity to help build balanced teams and set our players up for a fun and successful experience.

We loved seeing the effort, excitement, and smiles from everyone who participated. Thank you to our players, volunteers, and families who helped make the evening run smoothly.

Now it's time to finalize teams and get ready for another season of learning, growth, friendship, and baseball.

We can't wait to see everyone back at the field soon!

Events like this are a great reminder of how important it is for our community to offer meaningful opportunities that bring people together.

I appreciated the chance to attend this Fox Cities Chamber–hosted event on April 15th. These programs don’t happen without strong collaboration and community support.

Thank you to Shawn Mischo and Connor Schreck for volunteering their time to help coordinate the event and keep things moving behind the scenes. Their efforts helped make the day a success.

Grateful to be part of a community that values involvement, teamwork, and investing in experiences that matter.
