On April 15th, my hometown – Shiocton, WI, had an evacuation order of the village due to historic flooding in the town. It was very difficult to watch friends and family affected by the damage to their homes and personal items. At the same time, it was amazing to see how the community came together to help one another. The flooding has subsided, and a lot of progress has been made. However, the clean-up work is far from over. So, please consider donating, if able, to the Friends of Shiocton-Bovina Fire Department. They will ensure donations will go directly towards individuals affected by the flood. I am very appreciative of my team at Sunset Adventures Wealth Advisors for their generosity. In addition, I wanted to thank our partner, Ameriprise Financial, for their matching donation. It is great to be partnered with a company who is willing to help my small hometown community. From all of us, we give our thoughts and prayers to those in need and still working through the clean-up process.
