County fair season is here, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate alongside our communities! 🎡☀️

This month, we’re proud to support two great local traditions:

• Paulding County Fair — June 6–13
• Allen County Fair — June 23–28

From livestock shows and 4-H projects to fair food, rides, and grandstand events, county fairs are all about community, hard work, and making memories together.

In observance of Memorial Day, all Antwerp Banking Company locations will be closed.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and selflessness have secured the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As you spend time with family and friends this weekend, we hope you’ll also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

You may receive a phone call, text, or email that looks like it’s from us—warning about suspicious activity or an issue with your account. They’ll often create urgency and ask you to click a link or share information to “verify” things.

It can feel real. Convincing, even. And that’s exactly the point.

Here’s what to remember:
We will NEVER ask for sensitive information like your full account number, debit card number, PIN, or passwords.

If something doesn’t feel right, pause. Don’t click. Don’t respond.

Instead, contact us directly using the number on our website or the back of your debit card. We’ll be happy to confirm if there’s truly an issue—or if someone was trying to catch you off guard.

We’re continuing our Lender Spotlight series by introducing another member of the Antwerp Exchange Bank team who is dedicated to helping our customers succeed.

Meet Allen Schilb, Consumer Lending and Business Development Officer.

With over 20 years of experience in banking and finance, Allen brings a deep understanding of financial analysis, accounting, and strategic decision-making to every client and team. This background includes extensive experience as a Financial Analyst, Senior Accountant, and in Cost Accounting, allowing Allen to approach financial solutions with both precision and practicality.

Beyond the numbers, Allen founded a nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting individuals facing cancer treatments by helping relieve emotional, physical, and financial burdens. For Allen, finance is at its best when it empowers, uplifts, and creates stability for others.

Outside of work, Allen enjoys spending time with her family, husband Scott of 30 years and 27 years old son, Tommy. She loves fishing, camping, kayaking, crocheting, volunteering at church events and activities, and traveling. Allen also plays bass guitar at a local church in Fort Wayne, keeping a creative side active and a heart for music strong.

Allen is passionate about service, connection, and making a positive impact—both professionally and personally. We’re proud to have Allen on the Antwerp Exchange Bank team.

Meet Jodi Bell-Crosser, Loan Officer and Loan Processing Supervisor at Antwerp Exchange Bank.

With 25 years of banking experience and 11 years at Antwerp Exchange Bank, Jodi brings deep knowledge and a steady hand to every loan she helps guide. She specializes in consumer loans and consumer real estate lending, helping customers navigate the process with confidence and clarity.

Jodi holds both an Associate of Applied Business degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. A proud Paulding County native, she has called Antwerp home for the past 25 years.

When she’s not at the bank, Jodi enjoys camping and spending time with her family — two things that keep her grounded and connected to the community she serves.

As Senior Commercial Lender at Antwerp Exchange Bank, Mark Ferris plays a key role in supporting local businesses and guiding our lending team. He supervises AEB’s lending staff and leads business development efforts, helping ensure our customers receive thoughtful, relationship-driven financial support.

Mark brings more than two decades of commercial lending experience to the bank, including over 24 years serving businesses at another local financial institution. A graduate of Paulding High School and Defiance College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Mark combines deep industry knowledge with a strong understanding of our community.

When he’s away from the office, Mark enjoys traveling, hitting the golf course, and keeping up with sports.
