Make sure you head on over to Mineral tomorrow night to support the Mineral & Gold Fire Department at the taco supper fundraiser from 4-8pm at the Mineral Community Center. They're going to have raffles as well as live and silent auctions!

Dear Friends,

Fall is right around the corner and that means it is time for the Annawan-Alba Fire Department fundraiser. This year marks our 34th annual end of summer get-together. We are so thankful for 34 years of your faithful generosity and support! Our festivities will take place at the Annawan-Alba fire station on Sunday night, August 27th, 2023, with SUPPER from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Our ala carte menu includes butterfly pork chops, grilled tenderloins, Italian beef (with hot dogs for the kids), potato salad, coleslaw, the Chief’s famous baked beans, chips, homemade pies and desserts, and beverages (water, pop, and coffee).

We invite you to come and dine with us, visit with old friends, make new friends, and help fund our local fire and rescue units. We will have raffle tickets on hand to purchase and the prizes are what everyone could use… CASH!

Should you be unable to attend this year’s fundraiser, please feel free to make a tax-deductible donation by sending a check, payable to the Annawan-Alba Fire Department, addressed to:

Our annual fireman’s dinner is this Sunday, August 28th! Let us do the cooking while you come and enjoy good food & good company! We also have take out if you’re unable to stay and visit at the station 🚒🚑

Santa Claus will be in town on Wednesday, December 16th from 4:30-6:30 PM. Santa will be riding around with the Annawan Police delivering goodie bags to kids since we can't have him in the library this year! Santa will drop your goodie bag(s) on your porch. Wave to Santa from your window or front door so we can remain social distancing!
