Friends: it’s with a heavy heart that I post our beautiful friend Lisa has gone home. Please keep her family in your thoughts. Once I have information on her celebration of life, I will post it here. 💔

Friends. This morning I received a text from Shawn MacDonald, Lisa’s husband. Lisa is in the ICU with multiple organ failure with a grave outlook. There will be a private funeral and a celebration of life after the holidays. Please keep Lisa, Shawn and Ian in your prayers during this difficult time.

It’s with great sadness that I post about the passing of Jim Wood. Jim passed away on January 23, 2025. He and his wife Laura had moved to California several years ago to live closer to their daughter. A memorial service is scheduled for next month in Saline, Michigan. As you may or may not know, Richard Dorner had triple bypass surgery last Monday (8/19). I visited him today and he looks great, gets short of breath easily but enjoyed the company and listening to others talk, adding little comments here and there. He’s hoping to go home tomorrow, Friday, 8/23 which also happens to be his birthday.

His blockages were found during a routine checkup and stress test.

Keep Richard and Deanna in your prayers.
