Last week at GR Tech Week, Kapnick's Steve Miller co-hosted a hands-on AI session for HR leaders with Tim Glowa of https://bit.ly/4dFwZoX

Attendees built three working AI workflows. Steve led the benefits segment, where the group turned a dense benefits announcement into messages employees will actually read and act on. He also walked through the guardrails every employer needs, like what never to paste into a public AI tool and where the liability sits.

The group also built tools to pull themes from engagement surveys and flag retention risk early. Everyone left with their own prompt library, a safe-use checklist, and a copy of Tim's book, AI for HR Leaders.

For nearly 80 years, Kapnick has helped Michigan employers with benefits, risk and people strategy. Helping HR teams use AI safely is the next step in that work.

There's nothing like football weather, and Saturday was a perfect reminder why. We teamed up with to host a tailgate for the Michigan-Oklahoma game, and we couldn't have asked for a better turnout. So many great people came out to eat, catch up, and cheer together, and we're truly blessed to work alongside (and know!) so many wonderful people in our community.

This time of year always brings that football-weather feeling, and we're grateful we got to share a little of it with all of you. Thanks to CG Financial for co-hosting, and thanks to everyone who came out and made it a great one.
