Prior to becoming a State Farm agent in 2020, I worked on the corporate side of the company for 13 years! I enjoyed working with other agents and watching how they helped their customers. When the opportunity to open my own State Farm office in Ankeny, Iowa arose, I couldn’t wait to open up my doors for this remarkable community! As a loving and involved wife and mom, I know how important it is to

protect our community’s families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children exploring new places around town! I serve as the President of the Greater Altoona Girls Softball Assoc. I also am an Ankeny Chamber Member and love engaging with other local small business owners. Our office is proud to sponsor the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and A Helping Hand in Ankeny. I’m excited for the opportunity to help customers by the 3H's: Heart, Head and Humor. We want to find out what's most important to them, put an insurance and financial service plan together to protect from life’s unexpected and free them up to have fun knowing we have them covered. My experienced and enthusiastic team is ready to help customers find the right policy for their auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance, life insurance, and more.

Yes, this was an actual call we got in our office TODAY. 😂

Apparently, that’s a legitimate question when a bear decides your car is less “vehicle” and more giant can of sardines.

After Tennessee police reportedly redirected around 200 calls to insurance companies, I can only imagine the conversations:

“Can you describe the damage?”

“Well… the bear broke into my car, rearranged the interior, and helped himself to everything.”

“Was anyone else involved?”

“Just the bear. We’re not on speaking terms.”

For the record, there isn’t a little checkbox on your policy that says BEAR PARTY COVERAGE. 😂🐻

But if a bear turns your car into his personal Airbnb, that’s definitely a good time to call your insurance company and ask about your comprehensive coverage.

Just another normal day at the insurance office. 🐻🚗☎️😂
