20 years ago, our founder Joseph Sangl sat down and wrote out a list, not a business plan or a five-year forecast. Just a handful of things he hoped could be true one day, all from the lens of helping people: restoring hope, pointing them to Christ, creating practical tools, and helping people accomplish more than they ever thought possible.

Every item on that list was celebrated as achieved with a fired-up cake at our All Staff meeting last month. (If you know Joe, you know his trademark phrase is “get fired up.”)

But here’s what we really love about this story. When you write out your goals without knowing how you are going to make them possible, you’re really just trusting God with the outcome. Joe did that in 2006, and we’ve gotten to watch, one year at a time, what faithfulness does with a vision like that.

So today we’re celebrating Joe, but really we’re celebrating what God’s done through him. The list didn’t check itself off. He used his talents to create something that honors that original vision, something that has impacted more people than probably any of us could measure.

Thank you, Joe, for writing it down, for continuing to believe in the vision, for leading with faith, and for giving all of us the opportunity to be part of it.

Here’s to the next 20 years, and whatever’s on the next list.

FFL Family: Have you heard that Trump Accounts are available to ALL CHILDREN under the age of 18? If they were born prior to 2025, they won't receive the free $1,000. However, there are great advantages for helping your children build generational wealth through these accounts. I share more of my thoughts in the video below.

United States National Debt has hit $40 trillion.

The federal debt reached $40 trillion as the government adds red ink at a rapid rate. That's leading nervous investors to demand higher interest rates —pushing up borrowing costs for everyone else.

Hey pastors: What would your estimate be for how many of your congregants are facing financial stress?

A recent survey found that 77% of Americans report feeling anxious about their finances. Imagine what that could mean for your own congregation.

We know that as a pastor, you're carrying the weight of many people's struggles. And while you can't solve every problem, you don't have to carry this one alone.

At Fully Funded Life, we're passionate about equipping churches with practical, biblical financial education that helps people replace stress with stewardship, fear with confidence, and anxiety with hope.

When people experience financial freedom, they're often better positioned to be present with their families, engage in their communities, and live generously.

If your church is looking for a trusted partner to help your congregation grow in financial stewardship, we'd love to come alongside you. Because when families become financially healthier, churches become healthier too.

What's the biggest financial challenge you see families in your church facing today?

It's easy to think financial uncertainty is a modern problem, but it isn't.

People have always lived with unexpected expenses, changing economies, and an uncertain future. And because God has always known that, He gave us wisdom for how to prepare.

This verse encourages us to diversify instead of putting all our eggs in one basket. It reminds us to invest wisely, plan ahead, and not assume tomorrow is guaranteed.

But it's about more than just growing wealth. It's also an invitation to be generous. When we steward our resources well, we're in a better position to bless others and respond when needs arise.

We don't know what tomorrow holds, but we do know who holds tomorrow. Our job is simply to be faithful with what God has entrusted to us today.
