🍂 End of Summer in Alaska 🍂

It always feels like summer in Alaska moves fast.

One day it’s long evenings, road trips, fishing, and time on the water… and before you know it, there’s a little more chill in the air and the days start getting shorter.

As we head into fall, it’s a good time to slow down and take in the last few moments of summer—whether that’s one more camping trip, a weekend on the lake, or just enjoying a quiet evening outside.

Seasons change quickly here, and life has a way of doing the same.

It’s a reminder to appreciate where you are right now—and make sure the things you care about are taken care of as life moves forward.

What’s been your favorite part of this Alaska summer? 👇

🧡 September is Life Insurance Awareness Month 🧡

This month is a reminder to have a conversation many people tend to put off.

Life insurance isn’t about thinking the worst—it’s about making sure the people you love are taken care of if life doesn’t go the way you planned.

For many families, it’s one of the simplest ways to help protect the future: keeping things stable, covering the unexpected, and making sure loved ones aren’t left with financial stress during an already difficult time.

If it’s something you’ve been meaning to look into or just haven’t reviewed in a while, this is a good month to take a fresh look.

We’re always here to make that conversation simple and straightforward.

🐶 National Dog Day 🐶

Let’s be honest… dogs make life better.

They greet you like you’ve been gone for years (even if it’s just 5 minutes), they always know when it’s time for a walk, and they somehow become the most important member of the family without even trying.

They’re also a big reminder of what “home” really feels like—safe, loved, and a place where you can just be yourself.

Today we’re celebrating all the good dogs out there in Alaska and beyond. 🐾

Drop a photo of your pup in the comments so we can meet them! 👇

❤️ Community Appreciation ❤️

One of the best parts of what we do is the community we get to be part of.

From early mornings on the road to late nights at local events, from small business owners working hard every day to families building their lives here in Alaska—this community shows up for each other in a big way.

We’re grateful for the trust, conversations, and relationships we get to build every day. It’s something we don’t take for granted.

At the end of the day, our job is about helping protect the things people have worked so hard for—so they can focus more on living life in the community they love.

Thank you for letting us be your local agency. ❤️

❤️ Senior Citizens Day ❤️

Today we take a moment to recognize and appreciate the seniors in our community.
They are the storytellers, the builders, the teachers, and the ones who’ve helped shape the families and communities we know today.

One of my grandmother’s favorite sayings was: “It does not take long to live a lifetime.”

It’s a simple reminder of how quickly time moves—and how important it is to slow down, appreciate the people we love, and make the most of the moments we’re given.

From family traditions to life lessons passed down through generations, there’s so much wisdom that comes from those who’ve come before us.

We’re grateful for the seniors in our lives here in Alaska and beyond—and for everything they continue to give to their families and communities every day.

Take a moment today to reach out to a senior in your life and let them know they matter. ❤️

❤️ National Nonprofit Day ❤️

Today we recognize the nonprofits that quietly make a huge impact in our communities.
From food banks and youth programs to shelters, local charities, and volunteer organizations—these groups are often the first to show up when people need help most.

They remind us what community is really about: people taking care of people.

We’re grateful to live in a place where so many individuals and organizations are committed to helping others and strengthening the communities we all call home.

At the end of the day, it’s about looking out for one another—and making sure families have the support they need when life takes an unexpected turn.

Thank you to all the nonprofits making a difference every day. ❤️

📚 Back-to-School Season is here 📚

Whether it’s the first day of kindergarten or the start of another year for teens heading back to class, this time of year always brings a shift in routines.

Earlier mornings, busier roads, after-school activities, and a little more time spent in the car for most families.

It’s also a good reminder to slow down in school zones, stay alert for buses, and give those new drivers a little extra patience as they get back into the rhythm of the school year.

Life changes fast—and as routines shift, it’s worth making sure the things that keep your family moving are still protected the way they should be.

Wishing all Alaska families a safe and smooth start to the school year. 🚸

🏈 Alaska High School Football is BACK! 🏈

There’s nothing quite like that first game of the season.
The lights.
The cool Alaska air.
The sound of the crowd.
And that feeling that fall is just around the corner.

For a lot of families, it also means packed bleachers, busy schedules, and weekends spent traveling to support their kids and their teams.

It’s one of those moments where community really shows up—cheering for something bigger than just the scoreboard.

As the season kicks off, we’re wishing all the players, coaches, and families a safe and exciting year on and off the field.

And as life gets busier this time of year, it’s always worth making sure the things that matter most are protected—so you can focus on the moments that matter most
