In February 2025, we opened our Kotzebue branch inside the Alaska Commercial Company. And last week, we celebrated the milestones with the people who make it meaningful – our members and employees in the Kotzebue community!

Our Kotzebue Member Appreciation event was more than a thank you. It was an opportunity to connect, share stories, celebrate the last year and recognize the relationships we’ve built along the way.

For Branch Manager, Lori Jorgensen (Aumaqatuk), seeing so many familiar faces fill up the room was especially impactful. Lori shared, “We’re grateful for the grace you’ve given us as we’ve learned, grown and worked to serve you the way you deserve.”

The evening was filled with delicious food, gratitude and giving back. We proudly presented $5,000 to Maniilaq Association to support social services in Kotzebue and ended the event with a dice roll game, awarding over $2,100 in prizes to 10 lucky attendees!
