Today marks a historic moment for two Alaska credit unions. The proposed merger between Credit Union 1 and MAC Federal Credit Union has officially been approved by both memberships, as well as state and federal regulators.

This milestone reflects months of thoughtful planning, conversations and support from members, employees and leadership across both organizations. Together, we’re building a stronger future focused on expanding access, strengthening service and continuing to serve Alaska communities with local, member-focused financial support.

While integration work continues behind the scenes, there are no immediate changes for MAC or CU1 members. Members can continue using their accounts, services, branches and digital banking as they do today.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in this process and helped shape this next chapter. Thank you for your trust, support and membership!
