Our CU1 volunteers recently spent the day at the GET Real Financial Reality Fair with IDEA Homeschool students, helping them navigate real-world financial decisions and explore what it takes to manage a budget, balance priorities and plan for the future. 📚🎒

During Hunger Action Month, our teams stayed busy helping to support Alaskans facing food insecurity. 💚

We collected nonperishable food donations in every branch community, including 311 pounds in Anchorage and Eagle River! Our teams also volunteered with local organizations to prepare meals, pack food boxes and deliver food to those in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and supported Hunger Action Month with us. Together, we’re helping nourish communities across Alaska. 🥫✨

You have a stack of gifts, and we have skilled gift wrappers who want to help! 🎁 Over the next two Fridays, from 3-6pm, CU1 will have a gift wrapping station set up in the atrium of our Anchorage Headquarters location on Abbott Road. And the GOLD goes to Credit Union 1! 🏆 🎉 Recently, we were considered by the international MarCom Awards for our effort in strategic communication and public relations focused on the CU1 Mobile Branch. This week, we learned we've won top honors!

The MarCom Awards is a global competition for excellence in marketing and communication. The competition is expansive and leaves us in awe of this recognition. We surely couldn't have accomplished it without the amazing team of employees who collaborated on the branding, strategy and implementation of every aspect of our mobile branch! We have a truly great group here, and we look forward to all CU1 will continue to accomplish via this unique rolling resource 🚚 in the future.
