I moved to Alaska in 2004 with no intention of staying, but, to my surprise fell in LOVE with Alaska and its people! While I lived in Nome, AK I had the opportunity to travel to every rural village in the Bering Straits School District. This opportunity afforded me a true look at Alaska and the uniqueness of village life as well as the challenges and opportunities. I am excited to reside in Alaska

Recently attended a presentation by Alex Romero, Chief Investigator for the State of Alaska Division of Insurance and he told us that there are MANY scams going on with insurance:
1. Creation of FAKE car insurance companies to take your money
2 . Synthetic AI people
3. Clients and likely some agents are falsifying Certificates of Insurance
4. Companies selling unnecessary Durable Medical Equipment to seniors on Medicare
5. Lead Generator Companies
6. ACA plans that are fake
7. Pet Insurance fraudulent claims
8. Annuity Sales not reporting accurate information on the Suitability form.
