Traditional Lao rice cakes known as "khao tom" (steamed sweet sticky rice mixed with coconut milk usually filled with beans or bananas):

● date back to thousands of years along the Mekong basin
● they hold deep ritual importance in Laos for weddings, celebrations, holidays etc.

I was able to share this with my inlaws and kids. In hopes of one day, my boys making it for their family.

Learning about my clients' culture and traditions is so crucial to my professional growth. Being able to connect in that aspect, is an extra reward that I truly treasure.

Good morning, it's Fri - YAY!

It's been a week. Mixture of family activities, client annual reviews, and of course my kiddos' daily goofiness.

A few things I'd like to share:

● As I am waiting for an underwriter to come on the phone line, my oldest son (17), is humming to the "on hold" music. I look at him and he laughs with a smirk. It hit me, omgoodness this child has heard this same music tone for about 15 years.

● In this time of automated everything, real human correlation is so important.

I truly enjoy the stories my clients (new + existing) share. Whether it's your career, business venture, parenting, hobbies to "is this thing I want to build on my property covered?", I'm so honored to be a part of it.
