Hey, Seawolves - UAA's Enrollment Services Center and telephone services will be CLOSED to the public this Friday so we can work on training and special projects.

We will reopen on Monday, July 10th for regular business hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30- 5 pm.

Muffins and pies today! Watching these kids absolutely slay in the bakery is so inspiring. They can barely reach the shelves and working with equipment twice their size doesn’t daunt them at all. I’m already looking forward to 20 years from now when I can present these future bakers with these adorable pictures.

Important Notice - UAA Enrollment Services Center (ESC) will have reduced lobby hours on Tuesday, June 13th. Certain buildings on campus will be completing required safety training with local law enforcement during this time and we've been advised some activities could interfere with regular service. We apologize for any inconvenience.

* Telephone and email service is available 9-5 pm * The ESC lobby reopens to the public 2 - 5 pm

Please note, our neighbors in General Support Services (GSS) will not have reduced hours, you may still stop by the ESC to request escorted entrance to reach their department. Thank you for your patience!

The Alaska URISE program is Accepting new students Fall 2023

If you’re Interested in science this program might be for you.

The Alaska URISE program invites students considering a degree in a natural science or related field to explore the world of research in the fields of astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, and physics.

Alaska URISE provides students the opportunity to:

• Engage in real scientific research mentored by UAA faculty- no prior experience necessary!
• Join a diverse and inclusive community of students with similar interests
• Explore strategies for creating a path toward your desired science career
• Earn research course credits with tuition covered by the program
• Receive financial support to engage in up to six hours of research per week throughout the academic year.
