I'm already missing this.

Every year I get the crew out of the office and onto the river. No phones, no showings, no "quick question about the inspection." Just waders, nets, and a boat that smells like salmon by noon.

Selling houses is a grind. Nobody on this team works a normal week. So one day a year, the only thing anyone's closing on is a fish.

We'll be back at it next summer. Until then, back to work.
