We can’t tell who enjoyed this more... the kids or the farmer! 🌾❤️

There’s something special about giving children the opportunity to get up close, ask questions, and learn firsthand about agriculture from the people who live it every day.

These are the moments that help connect the next generation to where their food comes from and the farmers who make it possible.

We love seeing agriculture come to life for our Tangipahoa Parish students! 🚜🌱

Tangipahoa Parish was proudly represented at an event highlighting a major investment in the future of Louisiana agriculture!

Tangipahoa Parish Farm Bureau Vice President and Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation 3rd Vice President Amelia Kent attended the groundbreaking ceremony for CF Industries’ Blue Point One project, representing not only Tangipahoa Parish, but farmers and ranchers across Louisiana.

The approximately $4 billion project in Ascension Parish is expected to become the world’s largest ammonia production facility and will play an important role in providing fertilizer products to American farmers. Investments like this have the potential to make a significant impact on agriculture throughout our state and across the country.

We are excited to see Tangipahoa Parish represented at events like this and proud to have Amelia helping ensure our parish has a voice at the state level.

Amelia joined U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, Congresswoman Julia Letlow, Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation President Richard Fontenot, other members of Louisiana Farm Bureau leadership and fellow State Board members for this important event.

We’re proud to see Tangipahoa Parish represented alongside agricultural leaders working to strengthen the future of Louisiana agriculture! 🌾🇺🇸

We’re proud to have Tangipahoa Parish Farm Bureau represented at the state level!

Tangipahoa Parish Farm Bureau Board Member Amelia Kent serves on the Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation State Board as 3rd Vice President, where she helps ensure the voices and needs of our local farmers and ranchers are heard.

Today’s August State Board meeting was also a special first for newly crowned Louisiana Farm Bureau Queen Jéan Treas, our former Tangipahoa Parish Farm Bureau Queen, as she attended her first State Board meeting in her new role.

We’re proud to see Tangipahoa Parish so well represented and grateful for the time, leadership, and dedication both of these ladies give to Louisiana agriculture.

Thank you for continuing to serve and advocate for the farmers and ranchers of Tangipahoa Parish! 🍓
