Gould Insurance has been a family owned and family run business in Amesbury since 1934. Robert “Bud” Gould was running the agency with his son Jay in 1995 when they purchased C.B. Peterson Insurance Agency, also another family owned and run insurance agency in Amesbury. During that merger Matt Sherrill went to work for the Gould family and has been with the agency since 1996. In 2016 Matt purchased Gould Insurance and continues the tradition of caring for all the clients like they were our own family.

Today we said goodbye to our summer intern Riley McClure🥲 He was smart, quick, ambitious, curious, helpful, kind, funny & an all around pleasure to have around. We wish him well as he’s off to complete his Senior year at Bates College. We’re already looking forward to him coming to visit when he’s home for breaks!
