We provide no-fee, confidential, customized business advice in all 99 Iowa counties, and are the only nationally-accredited business assistance organization in Iowa. Individual counseling and training work
shops cover a variety of business topics including, but not limited to, new business guidance, business plan development, loan proposal assistance, financing options, market research services, export assistance, cash flow projections, accounting, QuickBooks, human resource management, business growth and succession strategies, strategic planning, business continuity planning and disaster counseling. We also provide free market research and connect clients to subject matter experts in a variety of fields. Entrepreneurs and existing businesses that work with America's SBDC Iowa grow significantly faster than the average Iowa business. The state center, located at Iowa State University, subcontracts with other universities, community colleges, and other organizations to provide a network of 15 regional business assistance centers throughout Iowa. We are part of a national network - America's SBDC.
