I’ve made chicken broth before, but this one looks way better and tastes way better too! Practice 😅

I prefer to use what I can at home to make more than its purpose. We got chicken hindquarters for .49 a pound. So naturally we got about 10 and cut them up 😬

10 legs
10 backs
10 thighs
And a good amount of broth!

…. Just how life insurance can do things for you while you’re alive as well as help financially when it’s time 😉 multipurpose!

Someone is dying for you to live your dreams.

So, honor that person. Start dreaming again like you did as a child. You never know what you can accomplish.

And know that the journey may not always look like a paved path through a park. Someone is waiting on the other side cheering you on, and you might not even know it.

Hello!! My name is Lakota. I live in Iowa (it’s a shame I know). You’ll usually find me in sweatpants and a hoodie. I’m always down to eat, go for a road trip, do basic errands together, or talk about my dreams.

I have a beautiful loving boyfriend of over 4 years, I’m a step mom and a dog mom. You probably won’t see much of my home life, but I’ll definitely share my dog. I forget to take pictures a lot, so although I try, we’ll get there 😅

I’m a life insurance agent who is certified in retirement solutions as well. I work for Symmetry Financial Group (WE’RE HIRING), and I’m learning as I go. It will be a year in March. I’m hoping to build a strong team this year.

I appreciate the support I get from family and friends. I hope you stop by my page often or just to say hi. I’m always open to questions about life insurance or what I do. Come with me as I learn. Come with me as I grow. Come with me on my team. Come with me as a client.

Thank you ❤️

And he passed!! Bailey was someone I talked to in December about joining Symmetry. He got started and kept on running. He even brought his friend along before even getting licensed!

But that’s perfect! Bailey now has someone to run with. He passed his test yesterday, and now he’s just waiting to be approved 🤩 Go Bailey!

My friend and I have decided our new hobby is diving headfirst into making our own food. We’ve started garden planning (I need all the help I can get 😅) as well as getting supplies to make our own pasta, breads, sauces, etc.

The other week I got green onions for a tiktok recipe I saw. Absolutely amazing if you ask me! I didn’t know what to do with the rest of them though 😩

So I grabbed a mason jar and put some water in with them. This is about two weeks of growth! Hopefully I can update more as I garden and if you want the chicken recipe I can post that too ❤️

Edit: Recipe is different from the bbq chicken I posted the other night 🤣

Basic, but so good supper! Frozen sweet corn from my grandpa, mashed potatoes with heavy cream we had leftover (green onion for me), and some chicken off the grill. Lately we’ve been struggling a little to come up with different supper ideas.

Let me know something I should try!! Also trying to diversify our foods with more color, veggies, etc.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a random Facebook picture match my mentality so much! 🥰

Talking money and death is uncomfortable for most people but seeing the impact it can make on families is absolutely amazing. I’m not ready for that death claim to come through to me, but I know when it does that I did the best I could to set that family up for success through grief.

As 2024 approaches, another year went swiftly by. 2023 had a lot in store, and the more I think about it, the more there was!

January 2023 - Started looking for a new job that could accompany what I needed at home. I loved my old job, but some things just didn’t work for me!

March 2023 - Got my life insurance license and sold my first policies on me and my mama! ☺️

May 2023 - Started Symmetry full time and made my income that I made in a month in my first week 🫢

May 2023 - I watched my younger sister graduate 😭

June 2023 - Added more paws to the house by taking in and “fostering” a dog for a friend. Watched him learn and grow with us ❤️

July 2023 - Went to Vegas for the first time and enjoyed a few days of relaxation and fun!

August 2023 - Our foster went to his forever home where he Is absolutely loved and has the best life on a farm

August 2023 - Went to my very first symmetry confrence and got to meet some amazing coworkers 😍 it was so cool to meet everyone and see the culture in full force.

August 2023 - Spent one night in bed then straight to Wisconsin for a family vacation

September 2023 - Turned 23 and spent it with some friends 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

October 2023 - Went to a corporate overview in Kansas City and met some more awesome coworkers

December 2023 - Reflected on the year and how hectic it’s been 🤣

There’s so much more in the middle, but hopefully 2024 will have so many more amazing things in store!

Manifestation part two (as I learn how to do it properly):

Manifesting is about being specific about what you want as well as putting action towards it. It is also about speaking it into existence as if you already own/have it. So, along with what I have, here is what I manifest;

•I have a home that I own. I have built it for myself/my family. I have the outdoor space I require with woods to walk around in. There is a body of water that flows through it. 🌳 🌻

•I have a room for myself. It has books, plants, windows that give beautiful natural sunlight. It is a room for my thoughts with my writings and journals. A room for my peace of mind. 📚 🌱

•I have a ridiculous amount of animals. Dogs, cats, goats, ducks.. whatever else 😅 my own funny farm. 🐶🐱🐥🦆🐴🐄

•I travel frequently. I enjoy the beauty of natures most majestic sights. I enjoy other cultures. I eat many foods. 🌍🧘🏼‍♀️🛫🏝️🗻

•I have a wonderful kitchen with anything I could ever need, so when I get the urge to make something new (once a week at least) I have the appliances to make it and share with loved ones. 🥩🥗🍜🍤

•I have a semi-messy house. One filled with love, animal fur, prints from family and pets, dishes in the sink from a meal well served with friends, blankets across the couch from lounging evenings, and a little bit of mess on the stove because I cannot cook without some spills. 🧽

I love what I have and that’s the first step for being grateful and loving what I will have ❤️

The other day the question, “what are you thankful for?” was asked on our zoom call. I try to think about what I’m thankful for often. Just the little moments matter. But, in participation and sharing here are a few:

•My dogs (of course). I’ve had JJ through years of changes. Murphy keeps life interesting to say the least.

•My few close friends. There isn’t many, but they are always there none the less. I’m grateful for their love and help.

•Having lived in multiple states, and knowing where I am isn’t where I will always be, for the better. What is around you makes a HUGE difference in your outlook, health, and spirit.

•My healthy relationship. My boyfriend is supportive, helpful, loving, kind. He’s helped me through the changes of life and drove me crazy every step of the way.

•My opportunity with Symmetry. I believe in my future with the company, and I see what they do for people. With that is the support of my coworkers who I’ve either never met or have met once. The culture is truly one of a kind.

•My little house. It’s a rental, but it is my only house that I’ve had of my own. I get to come back to a place every day/night that has space for all we need.

•So much more. My family (blood and not). Summers. The beauty of winter, even if I’m not a fan of the cold. For the experiences I’ve had. All the places I’ll get to see one day.
