I hope everyone is off to a great start to 2026! I’ve been taking some time to reflect after the New Year and wanted to take some time to sit down to make a post which I hardly ever do beyond sharing things I come across.
Some of you already know, but I’d be willing to guess many of you have no idea as to what I do for a living, and being a new year and all I wanted to put this out into the ether.
I’m an NMLS #2094565 licensed Loan Originator for Citywide Home Mortgage within the mortgage business. I’m currently licensed in Wisconsin, Minnesota and soon to be Florida where I’ve decided to spend my winter.
I’ve been in the mortgage business for 15 years this coming May, I spent about 10-11 of those years as an Underwriter within the operations side of this industry where I developed a particular set of skills that have served me well on the sales side of the business.
I’ve always avoided reaching out to my circle of family and friends as I’ve built my business, as mentioned above there are those that already know, but due to my past reluctance I’d guess many of you don’t.
So, after much thought and consideration, I decided to further pursue the social media side of my business as I strive to continue to grow, develop and spread the word as to what I do, and how I can serve you and any client I work with.
It is my mission to bring a level of service to everyone I work with that supersedes their expectations while focusing on educating those that need it, and ensuring those I work for completely understand not only the specifics, the numbers, and all the ins and outs of a particular purchase or refinance transaction, but as equally important, understanding the bigger picture of how to manage income, assets, credit obligations, overall debt and managing a budget that works for you.
The market is ever changing and it’s a lot to keep up with for the average consumer that doesn’t deal with a mortgage transaction on a regular basis, that’s where my team and I come into the picture. I like to use the motto, “date your rate, marry your home”.
While there is never a perfect time to purchase a home, finding the right one that makes sense for you and/or your family is extremely important to my team and my referral partners (aka realtors, insurance agents, title companies etc). You can expect consistent communication that suits your desires and the proper information you need to make the best financial decision for you, your family and your circumstances.
I don’t approach my business as transactional, but rather l look at the long term management of my clients homeownership goals and financial planning for their future endeavors (disclaimer, I am not a licensed financial planner)!
So, all that said, if You, or Anyone you know may be considering a home purchase, a home refinance or just a free consultation to discuss some future plans you may have on the back burner, I’d love to work for you or anyone you may know to earn your business!
