Announcement!!! We would like to congratulate all of the candidates who ran in yesterday's election. It takes courage to throw your hat into the ring, and win or lose, we appreciate your willingness to serve.

Knowing that we may have created some bad karma by facilitating all those campaign signs around the county, we would like to offer our office as a drop-off for all of the yard signs. We will return them to the candidates.

Here’s an article that may give you some ideas about how to recycle yard signs. You might want to repaint them and use them for other messages like “Yard Sale Today!” or upcycle them into other useful household items.

If you don’t want to reuse your signs, bring them to us. We are open 9 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Keep Sumter County litter-free and beautiful.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Ruby Vazquez to the Client First team!

Ruby is our new Cashier/Receptionist and will be one of the friendly folks greeting you when you call or stop by. She processes payments, assists clients, and helps connect you with the right team member to answer any questions you may have. We’re also excited that she is bilingual and happy to assist Spanish-speaking customers who may need translation support.

Ruby was born and raised in Americus, Georgia, where she developed a strong sense of community and a love for both small-town living and new experiences. She previously pursued a major in nursing and enjoys traveling, exploring city nightlife, and appreciating the peaceful charm of life around farm animals. In her free time, she loves painting, hiking, and shopping.

Happy Earth Day!

Lord, forgive us.

My reflection for today is about the reality that the insurance industry is being taken over by the lust for Artificial Intelligence (AI) for underwriting and claims.

The crazy speculative nature of this is not good for our clients and it is awful for the environment.

According to the insurance industry publication PropertyCasualty360, AI search results used for claims and medical preauthorization reviews have been found to be 60% inaccurate.

I know of one person who was turned down 5 times by artificial intelligence overriding her doctor's recommendations. Only after a human peer-to-peer review, did she get the treatment she needed.

And the data centers required to run these inaccurate tools are draining the water from communities and creating noise pollution that is making people sick.

Lord, forgive us.

Let us return to the wisdom that is in our communities, embodied by humans with experience in their trades. Let us leave the water for the flowers and farmers to flourish.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

AI is the devil, and the foolishness thereof.

Blessed are the peacemakers and the tree planters, for they will be called the children of God.
