Please remember that we are still under a Burn Ban. In Sumter County, we have already had one person arrested and several citations issued for willfully violating the burn ban issued by the Governor's office and Georgia Forestry. Conditions are just too dangerous for burning anything at this time. We do not want to be the next Pineland Road or Brantley County fire. Thank you for caring about your neighbors and wait until we can burn safely.

In observance of Good Friday, our office will be closed this Friday, April 3rd. We will resume normal business hours on Monday.
As we head into the weekend, we want to wish our community a very Happy Easter. Beyond the chocolate eggs and spring flowers, Easter is a beautiful reminder of renewal, hope, and new beginnings. It’s a time to reflect on the light that follows the dark and to cherish the moments we share with those we love.
