Unprecedented Business Acquisition Opportunity

The Small Business Administration has recently announced a new stimulus package to benefit both buyers and sellers of businesses.

The primary points of the package are:

1) The government will pay all principal and interest (up to $9,000 monthly) for new loans closed between February 1 and September 30 for 6 months from closing
2) The government will wave the normal SBA guarantee fee (normally 2.5% to 3.5%)
3) The government will increase the guaranteed provided to lenders; essentially making it easier to qualify loans.
These are extraordinary measures taken to make business acquisition simpler and more affordable. And by making it easier for buyers, it generates more buyer interest and this is a huge benefit to sellers as well; generating greater interest in business acquisition and thus more demand for businesses.
