Regardless of how you pay for your home, mortgages rates are likely to impact your decision. This article explains how rates affect cash buyers. Did you know most cash buyers eventually secure a traditional mortgage on their property? It can provide liquidity for investment, improvement projects, or paying down other debts which higher interest rates.

Mortgage interest rates have increased by over two and a half percentage points from their low in early 2021 to recent quotations. Higher mortgage rates have historically dampened sales of housing. The increased number of cash buyers does not make home sales less sensitive to rising mortgage rates.
