After two sound rejections of proposed property tax increases by voters, the City of Amarillo is still trying to figure out how to repair our aging parks and recreational facilities, hire more cops, and repair City streets.

Here's an idea: Pay less for health care!

Before we shut down the Zoo, or one of the golf courses, why don't we better manage our pharmacy costs, imaging costs, and outpatient surgery costs? There's a few million hiding in broad daylight that could be saved just in these three key areas.

The vast majority of the time, a medical debt is an unexpected, unplanned debt of necessity. We can positively impact 1700 local residents with this campaign. For every dollar you donate, $100 of debt is eliminated. Truly impactful.
