Community Awareness Post – Amarillo’s Insurance Agency
Community Awareness & Frustration
Over the past eight weeks, Amarillo’s Insurance Agency has been the victim of four burglaries across four different office locations.
After the first two incidents, we worked closely with law enforcement and were informed that suspects were identified and arrested. Unfortunately, we were later told the individuals were released due to insufficient evidence that was provided to the D.A. Office to move forward with charges.
Since that time, two more burglaries occurred last night at two different locations, believed to be committed by the same individuals.
These repeated incidents have taken a serious toll—not just financially, but emotionally—on our team, our families, and our ability to focus on serving our community.
Our employees deserve to feel safe at work, and local businesses deserve protection and accountability.
These incidents have had a serious impact on our employees, our operations, and our sense of security. We are working closely with law enforcement and have increased safety and security measures at all locations.
We are sharing this not to place blame, but to raise awareness. We strongly believe other local businesses may also be victims of the same individuals, and we want our community to stay alert during already challenging times.
We continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement and are taking additional steps to protect our offices. If anyone has information, video footage, or details that may help, please contact local authorities directly.
Small businesses are the backbone of our community. We appreciate your support, your vigilance, and your willingness to stand together.
Please share to help bring awareness.
