Some legacies are measured not by what we keep, but by what we pass on.
These photos tell the story of John K. Boyce Jr., from his days as a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point to his years of leadership at Williams-Boyce Agency. After graduating from West Point in 1945 and later earning a degree from the Wharton School of Finance, John returned to Amarillo in 1951 to join the family business. His commitment to service, integrity, and community became part of the foundation on which Williams-Boyce continues to stand.
Recently, the Boyce family honored his memory by returning his West Point class ring to the academy. The ring will be melted down and incorporated into the class rings of the West Point Class of 2027, allowing a small part of his story to live on in the next generation of leaders.
For our family and our agency, this gesture represents more than tradition. It reflects the values that have guided Williams-Boyce for generations: service, integrity, and a commitment to something greater than ourselves. We are proud to honor John K. Boyce Jr.'s life and grateful to carry those values forward every day.
