This mallard spent its summer pretty close to the North Pole. In the one year we have tracked him, he has traveled over 4,400 miles. He had 4 stopovers (green stars) during his spring migration (yellow line), but only 2 during his fall migration (red line). He flew from close to the Arctic down to Missouri in a little more than a month. These ducks never stop amazing us. Happy holidays everyone!
