A few weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a career conference after being selected as one of the top 10% of new financial professionals in the company across the country. To be recognized at this level within a Fortune 100 company was truly an honor.

The experience was both thrilling and energizing. For one week, I had the chance to learn, build meaningful relationships, and share space with so many talented and inspiring professionals in this business. I was proud to represent the Greater Atlanta General Office throughout the conference.

I am especially grateful for the families and professionals I have the opportunity to serve. The trust you place in me is something I never take for granted, and it continually pushes me to grow personally and professionally.

This experience strengthened my commitment to growth and service. I return even more prepared, motivated, and ready to make a greater impact in my community.

Standing back on familiar ground at Albany State University, I had the chance to catch up with my friend Kwasi Owusu-Ansah, now a Marine.

We had a deal: after training, he’d introduce me to Marine-level discipline. I assumed that meant mindset pointers. Apparently, it starts with a whistle and stopwatch.

Seeing him step into this new chapter is bigger than the uniform, it reminds me that service requires sacrifice, commitment requires consistency, and both deserve respect.
